About The Community Garden

What We Do

In the Spring of 2023, we broke ground on a new location for the Garden of Promise! For the 2023 season, our big focus is building up and enhancing our garden space. We are eager for community input during this process, so please share with us what you want your local community garden to do and be!

While still in the early stages of development, our main areas of focus at the garden are Farm to School, Community Food Security, and Therapeutic Gardening. We believe that each of these will help us to build a more resilient and self-reliant local food system, ultimately leading to both community health and wealth.
